Royal Jelly is a nutritious substance produced in the hive by the worker bees; it is fed to all bee larvae for the first 3 days of their life, and it is only food that is fed to the Queen bee. Royal Jelly is considered to be what is responsible for the stamina, immunity and lifespan of the Queen bee. Queen bees can live up to 5 years, whereas a worker bee’s lifespan is approximately 40 days.
