The Patriarch is our flagship red wine, grown on our Gimblett Gravels ‘Irongate’ vineyard in Hawke’s Bay and made in honour of the company founder and New Zealand wine industry pioneer, Josip Babich. With this wine, we allow ourselves complete flexibility to make the best we can – we are not committed to a particular variety or blend and crop levels are very restricted.

元老是百祺的旗舰红酒，葡萄来自百祺霍克湾金伯莱碎石区的铁门果园。为了纪念公司的创始人，也是新西兰葡萄酒业的先驱者约瑟普.百祺（Josip  Babich)而酿制。在酿制这款酒时，百祺旨在酿造出最佳红酒。因此充分灵活发挥，不仅限于某一品种，或某种调配。葡萄产量经过严格控制，在百祺团队一致认为达到超群品质时才酿制。
